Community Project of the Year 2011
South West Grid for Learning, was a winner at the 2011 BCS and Computing UK IT Industry awards which recognise the innovation and professionalism of those working in IT; under the category, Community Project of the Year.
Making the Internet Safer Award 2011
SWGfL, was a winner at the Nominet Internet Awards 2011, which highlights UK companies, charities and individuals which are making a difference on, or through, the Internet. Under the category, Making the Internet safer, SWGfL took home the award.
Internet Safety & Security Award 2011
SWGfL collected this prestigious award in recognition of 360 degree safe on the 7th July 2011. The ISPAs - the UK Internet industry awards - are unique as they are awarded to people and organisations in the industry by their peers and reflect the broad nature of the service provider sector.
Leadership and Management Solutions Award 2011
South West Grid for Learning was thrilled to win the Leadership and Management Solutions award at the 2011 BETT Awards for its highly regarded 360 degree safe self review tool for Online Safety in schools. The BETT Awards recognise outstanding educational products and learning solutions, and with a huge number of entries, are seen as the most prestigious in the sector.
